Hayes Carll is hosting a music festival on the Bolivar Peninsula in Crystal Beach, Texas on April 13th, 14th and 15th. Yes this is the same area immortalized in Hayes’ song Highway 87. Now, you too, will be able to live the experience.The festival is up and running. Artists have been confirmed, beach houses reserved and venues organized. The party flag goes up Friday, April 13 at 3:00 p.m. and will not come down until Sunday, April 15 at 5:00 p.m. Hayes has put together a tremendous lineup that will include some your all-time favorites as well as the best new talent on the Texas horizon. The festival will be located at the Tiki Beach Bar and Grill. This venue has 57 acres providing the plenty of room to spread out. There will be three stages providing music daily until midnight.

Hello everybody,

Sunday July 9th, JEB will be performing two shows on opposite sides of town....come out and hang with us, it's sure to be a great day of fun and rock-n-roll!!!

For those of you on the Northwest side of town, JEB will be doing the Trader's Village Summer Concert Series from 12pm-4pm. And you can get some shopping in while you're at it! 7979 N. Eldridge Rd.

Trader's Village covers more than 105 acres, with 1,000 dealers, every weekend. More than one million people browse, buy & trade in this open-air bargain hunters' paradise each year. It's the largest market on the Texas Gulf Coast.

And later in the evening, we're headed to Clear Lake to perform at Scout Bar for the Texas Buzz Music Showcase. JEB starts at midnight, so you've got plenty of time to get it in gear and head on down.

For those of you who just can't make it, slackers, Zakk United from 94.5fm and The Texas Buzz will be interviewing the boys earlier in the evening and we'll also be doing a cool little acoustic jam live on the air. Don't miss it!!

J.E.B. pulls off last minute show at the Sidecar Pub
So we were supposed to go to Victoria to do the Texas Roadhouse concert series show and was informed just minutes before departure that the show had been cancelled. At that moment Blake made a call to the Sidecar Pub and got us in there at the last minute for what would be an intimate evening with the John Evans Band. Everyone quickly jumped on their MySpace to blog and send bulletins (with the word "impromtu spelled incorrectly mind you") to generate an audience for this last minute soiree. The turnout was pretty good, the sound kicked ass and we had a blast. Thanks to all that made it out and we hope the free shirts and cd's were gratitude enough for your support.

The week ahead
Be sure to catch us at the Scout Bar on July 9th for another kickass 94.5 Texas Buzz show with Zakk United doing the live remote. We will also be interviewing with Zakk and playing a short acoustic set afterwards live on the air. Man if you haven't been to the Scout bar on Buzz Sunday you should check it out. Hot chicks, kickass drink specials, the Buzz of course and loud Texas rock with JEB.

jebTV is currently in the works and should be published in the weeks to come. This is our video road diary that will actually put some of our crazy road experiences in a sort of reality TV format for our friends and fans so you will get to see Mikey, Jake, John, Razz, Blake, Vivian and Logan our offstage personas as well as friends that we have made on the road over the past year. The first episode is in editing as we speak so keep an eye out on our myspace page for that.

This month the boys will find themselves out on the road again in Arizona, Colorado and Missouri. JEB and Micellaneous Music Group are also proud to announce the signing of a deal with KB Talent booking agency that will have the guys very busy throughout the rest of the year so look for JEB in your town this summer.

In other news, The John Evans Band advanced to the preliminary round of the Bodog Music battle of the bands competition and want to thank all that voted. This first show will be held here in Houston, TX sometime this summer with the winner advancing to the next round for a chance to win a $1.000,000 record deal from Bodog Music. Stay tuned for more details and exciting JEB news as it becomes available.

Hello everyone!

The past few months have been VERY busy for JEB as we completed and released our latest album "Ramblin' Boy." This is by far the most rockin' project and all of our fans are really loving it!

We've spent much of the New Year touring around Texas, Arizona, Colorado, Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri and Oklahoma, scoring tons of new fans!! Very exciting.

Coming up on May 5th and 6th, JEB will be performing in the Dallas area and we hope you'll come check us out and show some love!!!

We are happy to announce we've just signed on with the Artist Development Division of Dan Workman Music. They will be handling all of our management and PR from here on out. For those of you who aren't familiar with Dan Workman, he is co-owner of the historic SugarHill Studios where we record all of our stuff. Dan is also an accomplished engineer/producer.
